Houston's downtown is home to Market Square Park, a public park. Downtown Houston's historic district is reclaiming it as its vibrant hub. There are many lovely things to experience, including a dog run in the shape of a crescent and a neighborhood area. Actors, designers, composers, and many more theater artists are also involved. The Alley presents around 500 shows a year for audiences of all ages.

 

Hobby Centre For the Performing Arts:

Hobby Centre For the Performing Arts is a theater that opened to the public in 2002. Views of Houston's skyscrapers, Tranquility Park, and city hall can easily be seen through the 60-foot-high glass walls. It’s a top-notch cultural center that offers prime performance spaces, opens doors for the performing arts, and supports arts education. It features a range of interesting performances from visiting and Houston-based artists and groups.  

 

The Heritage Society at Sam Houston Park:

The Heritage Society Museum Complex manages 10 historic buildings. This is the city's lone park and historic museum.
